Ross McIntosh, viola, and Benjamin David Tufte, piano, present the Sonatas Opus 120 nos. 1-2, by Johannes Brahms; Jessamyn Fry presents the Barber Cello Sonata, also with Tufte.

This recital is given in anticipation of a recording project which will take place in September of 2026; The Tuftë-McIntosh Duo will record and perform these works on the very viola by which these pieces were inspired and conceived - played and owned by Joseph Joachim, and used in frequent collaboration with Johannes Brahms.
