Eunbin Choi

Eunbin began studying the violin at the age of ten. She continued her musical education in Paris with Suzanne Gessner before pursuing further studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with Christian Altenburger. She is currently studying under Svetlana Makarova.

During her studies in Paris, she developed a strong interest in chamber music and has since performed in various chamber ensembles, building a repertoire spanning from early music to contemporary works.

She has performed in major concert venues across Europe, including the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Schönbrunn Palace Theatre, the Auditorium de Radio France, the Amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne, and the Église de la Madeleine in Paris.

An active orchestral musician, she was appointed Co-Concertmaster of the Webern Philharmonie for the 2024 winter season under the direction of Axel Kober and has worked with conductors including Marin Alsop, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, and Daniel Harding. Alongside her musical studies, she obtained a Master's degree in Law from Sorbonne Law School.
