Hailing from Laramie, Wyoming, Chris Leonard began his studies at the age of 4 at the String Academy of Wyoming with Sherry Sinift. An active performer and chamber musician, Chris holds positions as Associate Concertmaster of the Greeley Philharmonic , Assistant Principal 2nd Violin of the Ft. Collins Symphony, as well as being a member of the Boulder Philharmonic, and Colorado Spring Philharmonic. A regular collaborator Chris has performed on stages across the United States and Europe, and frequently performs along the front range of Colorado. Chris, holds a Bachelor of Music, and Diploma in Music from Indiana University, where he studied under Mimi Zweig, Grigory Kalinovsky, and Chamber Music with the Pacifica Quartet. He holds a M.M. from Denver University under the tutelage of Linda Wang.
